Recapturing Revenue, Improving Profitability in a Changed Marketplace
In the world of online webinars, it is not often that you get a chance to speak with those on the front lines of technology without the companies representing the respective technology present. This was the case in our last session.
Oracle Hospitality gave us the opportunity to speak with two individuals who have battle scars that represent many years in the hotel technology space. Hotel technology adoption and implementation are not for the faint of heart, especially when it comes to replacing primary operation systems like a property management solution. Gunnar von Hagen, Corporate Director of Operations at Lindner Hotels & Resorts alongside Marcos Marin, Managing Director of hoteltic Digital Hospitality, representing Majestic Hotels have been helping their respective hotel companies migrate from an on-premise solution to the Oracle Hospitality Cloud PMS.
During the session, areas of discussion included the impact of mobile on the hotel environment, the challenges our industry faces when it comes to ensuring that we have enough resources to service our guests effectively, and PMS migration to the cloud. This engaging session is at the top of this list due to the fact that we were able to speak to Gunnar and Marcos, both of whom are directly affected by the dramatic changes our industry has faced over the last 36 months.
Please take the time to watch and listen to the interesting and informative session.
