ibis Styles opens in Batumi, Georgia

The sports-themed hotel is Accor’s first address in Georgia’s Black Sea resort.

ibis Styles, Accor’s design-led economy hotel brand, announces the opening of the 121-room ibis Styles Batumi. The newly built hotel is the group’s first address in Batumi, Georgia’s second-largest city and the country’s leading Black Sea resort.

The Sweet BedTM by ibis Styles has been specifically designed for the comfort of guests, with flexible, wood-slated box spring beds, a dense mattress, a 7cm topper for support, a light duvet and 2x large microfiber pillows.

The opening of ibis Styles Batumi builds on Accor’s rapid expansion in Georgia, with a portfolio of 10 properties currently operating and a development pipeline of 15+ hotels.

Located within walking distance from the famous Batumi Boulevard with a seafront park, ibis Styles Batumi offers guests a comfortable and relaxed stay, as well as a unique sports-themed design across the rooms and public areas which is inspired by Georgia’s national sport “Lelo” (modern Rugby).

Named one of the 2019 European Cities of Sport, Batumi is a cosmopolitan destination that actively promotes sports through many dedicated venues such as the recently opened Batumi Football Stadium, compliant with Category IV of the Union of European Football Associations.

ibis Styles Batumi features bright tones and playful design elements in its communal areas and guestrooms, which blend with the overall sports-themed interiors. The hotel boasts 121 rooms with stunning mountain and sea views designed as a living area where guests can rest, recharge or work.
