Former Lynx FBO President joins West Star Aviation
Chad Farischon, former President and partner of Lynx FBO Network, has been named West Star Aviation’s new Vice President of Strategic Development. The move comes after the Lynx chain and its nine locations were acquired by Atlantic Aviation in February.
West Star Aviation specializes in maintenance, repair, and overhaul services in addition to FBO services for transient aircraft at its East Alton and Grand Junction facility, as well as AOG services nationwide.
“Chad brings a wealth of industry knowledge, and we look forward to him leveraging our existing momentum along with his industry resources to further build the company,” said Jim Rankin, CEO of West Star Aviation.
West Star states that Farischon will drive growth opportunities through mergers and acquisitions, integration, and business optimization.
Farischon cofounded Lynx FBO, which ran from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, he served for six years as the Regional Vice President with Landmark Aviation.
“West Star is well-positioned for continued success, and I am excited to be part of this industry-leading management team,” said Farischon.
Farischon earned his B.S. degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He currently holds a private pilot license and is a member of the National Business Aircraft Association, American Association of Airport Executives, and National Air Transport Association (Airport Business Committee Chair).
