Avfuel releases scholarship applications

SAN DIEGO, CA – Avfuel Corporation announces the availability of its 2022 scholarship applications for the 5th Annual Avfuel Pilot-in-Training Scholarship and 24th Annual AVTRIP Scholarship.

Due on September 5, 2022, by 11:59 p.m. EDT, the applications can be accessed by visiting Avfuel.com/Scholarships.

The Avfuel Pilot-in-Training Scholarship was designed to award three students with funds to use toward furthering their aviation education. The 2022 scholarship will be in the amounts of $1,500, $1,000 and $500. These funds may be used for, but not limited to, flight training, educational tuition fees and a new license.

The AVTRIP Scholarship was designed to award one current AVTRIP member (new member enrollments apply) with funds to use toward furthering their aviation education. The scholarship will be in the amount of $2,000. These funds may be used for, but not limited to, flight training, educational tuition fees, and a new license or rating.

The Avfuel Pilot-in-Training and AVTRIP Scholarships are joined this year by the inaugural Sheltair & Avfuel: Future Takes Flight Scholarship Program, which will provide $30,000 in education funds annually. Each year, the program will award six $5,000 scholarships across three categories: two for learning to fly or advanced pilot ratings; two for aviation technicians; and two for continuing education. Applications for the Sheltair & Avfuel: Future Takes Flight Scholarship Program are now available. Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 1, 2022.
