TITAN Fuels expands footprint to Europe with AKRYL acquisition
TITAN Aviation Fuels has acquired AKRYL, a Geneva, Switzerland-based aviation fuel reseller, in a move to expand its brand footprint worldwide.
TITAN has been an established fuel brand in the United States for the past 45 years and will use this acquisition to bring its fuel supply to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. AKRYL will be rebranded as TITAN Aviation Fuels.
AKRYL maintains an online digital fuel procurement platform that allows flight departments to view fuel pricing in real-time and make fuel purchases anywhere in the world. The program can also be integrated with specific operations software to enable a streamlined way to manage fueling operations.
“We are very excited about the AKRYL acquisition,” said Robby Stallings, TITAN Aviation Fuels President. “Not only does this integration give our Contract Fuel Program an international footprint for our North American based customers, but also provides access to TITAN programs for European based customers traveling to North America, and as a result, drives international traffic to our extensive TITAN branded FBO network,” he continued.
AKRYL will maintain its offices in Dublin, Ireland and Geneva, Switzerland.
