VistaJet takes delivery of 100th Bombardier Global 7500, becomes largest operator

Less than 24 hours after delivering the last Learjet ever, Bombardier announced another milestone, the delivery of the 100th Global 7500 jet to VistaJet.

The delivery of the ultra-long-range jet also marks VistaJet’s tenth, solidifying it as the largest operator of Global 7500 aircraft in the world.

VistaJet plans to welcome 17 Global 7500 aircraft into its fleet by the end of the year.

“VistaJet is committed to a sustainable aviation future and supporting the global business industry with this expansion,” said Thomas Flohr, Founder and Chairman of Vista Global. “Our enhanced product offering onboard the Global 7500 also guarantees that our clients, whether business or leisure travelers, are given the best and most seamless flying experience.”

The Global 7500 aircraft is the first business jet with an Environmental Product Declaration, which offers complete transparency on the jet’s performance.

Flying at a higher altitude than commercial jets – up to 51,000 feet – the thinner air allows the aircraft to fly faster while burning less fuel.

It has been a major week of announcements for Vista Global, which announced the acquisition of major U.S. charter operator Jet Edge early Thursday. The purchase will include Jet Edge’s maintenance facilities, a fleet of 100 Gulfstream and Challenger aircraft, and its brokerage platforms.
